18/04/12...Planning applications consider by Thame Town Council -
PLANNING Applications Considered by Thame Town Council’s Planning Committee on April 17, 2012:
20 BUTTERMARKET & 113 HIGH STREET
Display of replacement non-illuminated replacement fascia signs to both premises and new non-illuminated projecting sign to No 20 (As amended by plan accompanying e-mail from agent dated 28 March 2012).
Amendment No 1 shows hand painted fascia and hanging signs for 20 Buttermarket. 113 High Street signage will be replaced like for like.
Comment: The Committee regret that the hanging sign for 20 Buttermarket has been positioned so near the old, traditional lettering on the wall. They ask for the sign to be raised, and for the wall to be reinstated to its previous condition.
51 CHURCHILL CRESCENT
Demolition of existing and construction of a new single storey rear extension.
47, 48 & 49 NORTH STREET
Re-rendering existing external walls with “monocouche” render (through colour white).
20 ROUNDHEAD DRIVE
Single storey rear and side extension.
Comment: The Committee found this to be an unexceptional design.
7 CHINNOR ROAD
Demolition of existing single storey rear extension and erection of single storey rear extension.
